The weekend’s nearly here!

We’ve been busy racking up the beers, and this Sunday we’ll be raising a glass to all the dads — past and present.

Chris will be firing up the smoker for his legendary low-and-slow BBQ platters. Pre-order is highly recommended at www.originbbq.com/menu to avoid missing out.

We’ll have the decks out spinning some classic tunes for the occasion, perfect for kicking back with a pint and celebrating Dad in style.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to two amazing publications and the lovely people behind them—really proud to be featured in both!

First up, a great piece in @pierjournal written and illustrated by the super talented @becca_perl_illustration . It’s all about the grain we’re growing and the journey from field to pint—grain to glass. Becca did such a great job capturing what we’re up to. Really appreciate it!

What a night!

Yesterday’s event was an absolute blast — a proper showcase of fresh local talent, and wow… there’s definitely talent out there! I’m always hyped to hear what young, up-and-coming bands are bringing to the table — whether it’s indie punk, math/art rock (which, I’ll be honest, was a first for me). It’s exciting to see a real band resurgence happening, and I’ve got to say — what a venue to experience it all in!

Massive shout out to the DTA crew and to Joe — first time for both of us running the sound and lighting on our new mixing desk. What could’ve gone wrong? Well… absolutely nothing! Everything ran smooth as butter.

Props to Big Nose BBQ for smashing it again and keeping everyone well-fed.

This Sunday is our big Barn Dance — dancing kicks off from 4 PM to 7 PM, with the brewery opening at 1 PM. Tickets will be available at the bar. And yes, Big Nose BBQ will be firing up the grill!

Tonight from 4 PM, Chris is back with his delicious BBQ surf & turf, and we’re welcoming DJ Paul Goldchain, spinning smooth yacht rock all evening.

We’ve also just tapped the second batch of ale — that means around 15 different ales pouring this weekend. Come grab your favorites before they’re gone!

8 Years of Brewing – What a Ride!

It’s pretty amazing to think about where we started and just how far we’ve come. So much hard work has gone into getting here, and while it hasn’t always been easy, we’ve made it through—something not everyone in this industry has been lucky enough to say.

We’ve built this brewery from the ground up, grown it organically, and stayed true to what we believe in. And even though the last five years have had their challenges (for us and for everyone), we’ve pushed through and kept brewing.

Now, as we get ready to celebrate our 8th anniversary, it’s wild to look back. Over 30 gold medals. More than 100 different beer recipes. 100 beers brewed. And the best part? All the fantastic friends and supporters we’ve met along the way.

We’re just getting started, and there’s so much more to come.

So here’s to the last eight years—and to whatever comes next. Cheers!
