DESCRIPTION:Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August\nDrop the Anchor Brewery\, East Close Farm\, Hinton\nFrom 12pm both days \nThis weekend the field comes alive with the sights\, sounds and smells of a proper vintage gathering\, all while raising money for a fantastic cause. \nOur Charity Vintage Ploughing Weekend is shaping up to be a cracker\, with plenty to see across both days. \nAround 10 vintage tractors competing in the ploughing\n5 display tractors\n7–8 stationary engines\nminiature steam engines\nBedford horse lorry\nVintage pedal bikes\nFlint knapping demonstration\nPhoto tractor\nHinton Admiral Steam Fire Engine\n2 classic Land Rovers\nPlus the Pride & Joy group\, with their cars joining us from around lunchtime each day \nAnd knowing these events\, a few more wonderful old machines may well rumble through the gate before the weekend! \n@originbbq will be cooking throughout the day\, and of course the brewery bar will be open and pouring. \nALL IN SUPPORT OF CRY – CARDIAC RISK IN THE YOUNG \nCRY works to prevent young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness\, screening and research\, while also supporting families affected by young sudden cardiac death. The charity provides cardiac screening for young people aged 14–35\, helping identify potentially dangerous heart conditions. \nSo come along\, bring the family\, grab some BBQ and a pint\, watch the ploughing and spend an afternoon surrounded by some fantastic pieces of our farming and motoring heritage. \nVintage machines\, proper ploughing\, BBQ\, beer and a brilliant cause. \nA LITTLE NOTE ABOUT THE WEATHER \nAs this is an outdoor event involving vintage machinery\, tractors\, steam engines and ploughing\, some parts of the weekend may be subject to change depending on the weather and ground conditions. \nWe’ve certainly had our fair share of heat recently\, so the safety of our exhibitors\, visitors and all those wonderful old machines has to come first! \nWe’ll keep an eye on conditions throughout the week and post any updates here if anything needs to change. \nFor now\, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August from 12pm. \nCome along\, support CRY\, enjoy some proper vintage machinery\, grab some @originbbq and\, of course\, there’ll be a cold pint waiting at the bar! \n  \n  \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n
